Determine the center of the room by intersecting two lines from the middle of each opposite wall.
The surface (floor or wall) must be completely clean from dust, oil and grease.
For marble: The floor must be very strong concrete because marble is heavy and cannot withstand subsidence.
Mix the adhesive (putty) according to the manufacturer's instructions until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
Use a notched trowel to spread the putty over an area no larger than 1 square meter at a time (to prevent it from drying out).
Make the grooves (left by the trowel) point in the same direction to ensure even adhesion.
Experience: Marble installation requires a highly experienced craftsman. Mistakes in marble installation are very costly and difficult to repair.
Preparation: Do not walk on the tiled floor for at least 24 hours after installation.
Storage: Store the marble and ceramic tiles in the work area well before installation to allow them to acclimate to the room's temperature and humidity.
Protection: Wearing safety goggles and a dust mask during cutting is essential.
Hire an Expert: If the area is large or you have a complex design (such as a diagonal installation or many details), it is always best to hire a professional.
